Welcome! Poetry & Plays will be a class you will never forget!
Hello everyone! I am SO incredibly excited to be teaching this class! I love to act and perform and especially love to teach acting, performing, and writing plays/monologues.
We will embark on an amazing journey that will overwhelm your senses in the best way possible.
In this class we will:
-Perform in acting/vocal warm ups (daily)
-Learn and participate in improv games (daily)
-Learn and make use of play practice techniques (vocal and movement)
-Explore published Plays & monologues (and the elements included) (first week and a half)
-Create our own play using the techniques (first week and a half)
-Explore poetic forms/types
-Explore published poetry (and the elements included) (second week and a half)
-Develop our own poetry to perform (second week and a half)
HAVE MORE FUN THAN IMAGINABLE!
